Supercraft Permit System Released

Editor's Note, September 2026: Since Spawn Chunks are no longer a thing in the recent versions of Minecraft, the additional stringency within Spawn Chunks is no more.

For quite a while, acquiring building permits consisted of either messaging Mayor Brighton and asking him for one, or dropping off a book-and-quill permit request at the Brynhild Permit Office, but no longer!

April 4th marked the public launch of the new Supercraft Permit System with Version 0.1.0, with Version 0.2.0 coming a few days later on April 10th and visually bringing the site up to the present decade.

Version 0.2.0 visually brought the site forward to this decade.

Permits for participating municipalities¹ can now be requested online, and are typically approved within 24 hours. Additionally, Spawn Chunks have been expanded from 2 to 32, so builds within that boundary (or generally located in and around Ayrith in Brynild) may be subject to some more stringent requirements for purposes of minimizing lag.

Players will need to contact @Spikej555 on Discord to request a login for the permit system.

¹ Most settlements and municipalities show up on the application form under their respective regions, but those which are not participating in the permit system are visually greyed out and not selectable.
